  • This warranty applies only to TPMS units that fail due to internal battery depletion or manufacturing defects in the sensor itself.
  • Defect sensor and receipt is required to submit claim during warranty period
  • Free replacement of defect sensor
  • The warranty does not cover

  • physical damage caused by accidents, improper reinstallation by non Tyrehood technicians, or external impact
  • Use of tire liquid sealants or similar substances that may affect sensor performance
  • Damage resulting from misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications
  • All warranty claims are subject to inspection and verification. The final decision regarding warranty eligibility rests solely with Tyrehood.

    • Sensor:If one sensor is damaged or battery is used up, only that sensor can be replaced without the need to purchase one set again.
    • Pros
      • Appearance not affected
      • Not easily stolen
    • Cons
      • Monitor and tire position will not match if tires are swapped left to right / front to wear. New setting is needed.
      • Battery irreplacable. Need to replace that particular sensor
      • Installation is required
      • If tire nozzle is damaged, the whole sensor needs to be replaced
      • Another expense is required to install another vehicle
      • Metal tire nozzle is easily oxidized. If user tighten the nozzle cap improperly, there is a chance the nozzle cap cannot be taken out. The whole nozzle needs to be cut and the whole sensor needs to be replaced
